2025 Nimbus Commuter 11

2025 Nimbus Commuter 11 MKII — Scandinavian Engineering Meets the East End

The Nimbus C11 MKII is a different kind of boat — one built for people who refuse to let the weather decide when they go out. Founded in 1968 in Gothenburg, Sweden, Nimbus has spent decades perfecting the art of all-season boating, and the Commuter 11 MKII is their finest expression of that philosophy. With a fully enclosed pilothouse, wide sliding doors, wraparound sightlines, and a hull engineered to run dry and fast in challenging conditions, this is a boat that treats a grey January morning the same way it treats a bluebird Saturday in July. Available now at Modern Yachts, in white hull with Blue Storm cushions throughout, this build is striking, purposeful, and ready to go.

Power comes from twin Mercury Verado V10-400 XXL outboards — the most capable outboard package available for this platform — paired with integrated joystick docking, Skyhook station-keeping, autopilot, Active Trim, and VesselView 403 display. The Zipwake dynamic trim control system works in the background to keep the ride level and efficient, while a Sleipner SE100 bow thruster makes single-handed docking effortless. Whether you're covering long coastal miles at cruise or threading into a tight slip, this boat handles it with confidence. Twin 400s put top speed well north of 40 knots, and the air-lubricated twin-stepped hull makes it feel completely composed getting there.

Below and throughout, this C11 has been configured as a true live-aboard-capable cruiser. The full Webasto air conditioning package covers both the deck salon and owner's cabin, the US shore power system with MASS Combi and onboard genset means you're never without power, and the high-end HiFi package, HPL flooring, beige carpets, and premium Spradling Blue Storm salon and outdoor cushions create an interior that feels more European luxury yacht than anything else on the East End. Simrad NSS EVO 3S 16" plotter, HALO 24 radar, xSonic SS60 thru-hull sonar, and Nimbus Connect round out a navigation suite that's ready for anything. Contact Modern Yachts to schedule a showing at our Hampton Bays, Westhampton Beach, or Mattituck location.
